A graduate of Ohio State University, Dr. Jenny Tran joined Eyetique in 2020. While Dr. Tran excels at all aspects of vision care, her special field of interest is medical contact lenses. When asked why she became an Optometrist, Dr. Tran said, “I liked the one-on-one interaction that I get to share with patients. I love helping people discover a better, cleaner world.

Bradley Ortisi, O.D., received his Doctor of Optometry from The Ohio State University College of Optometry, graduating in 2023. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from the University of South Florida in 2018.

Inspired by the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of his patients, Dr. Ortisi chose to pursue a career in optometry to enhance the quality of life within his community. He is passionate about providing vision correction and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to support overall physical well-being. For him, the most rewarding part of being an optometrist is the instant gratification of helping someone see clearly. Watching a patient’s face light up when they experience improved vision is what makes his work so fulfilling.

IN REMEMBRANCE

Dr. Myers grew up in Groveport, Ohio, a neighboring town to Canal Winchester. After graduating from Groveport-Madison High School, he attended and graduated from Otterbein College in Westerville, Ohio with a B.A. in Chemistry.

During his time at The Ohio State University College of Optometry, he was active in Epsilon Psi Epsilon, serving as a Board member for two years. Additionally, he was Class President, graduating in 1984.

His professional career began in this practice as an associate of Dr. David Dickson. He purchased the practice from Dr. Dickson in 1985. He holds a faculty appointment from The Ohio State University College of Optometry as a Professor of Clinical Practice, precepting students in the practice on Mondays, and has done teaching on campus in the Junior clinic, Ocular Disease clinic, as well as off-campus at the Chillicothe VAMC.

He was a member of the Central Ohio, Ohio, & American Optometric Associations and a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Myers is a Past President of the Ohio Optometric Association, a former Chair of the East West Eye Conference, Past President of the Ohio Optometric Foundation, and a past Governor of the Central Ohio Optometric Association. He served as the Chair of the Exhibits Committee of the American Academy of Optometry for several years. He received the Warren G. and Ruth P. Morris Optometrist of the Year Award from the Ohio Optometric Association in 2003.

Dr. Steven Manning completed his undergraduate studies at The Ohio State University and majored in Biomedical Science. He then continued his education at The Ohio State University College of Optometry, receiving his Doctor of Optometry degree and graduating magna cum laude in 2018.

Dr. Manning was also honored with membership in Beta Sigma Kappa honor society recognizing academic achievement in optometry school.

Dr. Manning completed a two-year Advanced Practice Fellowship in Binocular Vision and Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Optometry and received a Master of Science degree in Vision Science. During his fellowship,

Dr. Manning served as an attending doctor in Ohio State’s Binocular Vision and Pediatrics, Vision Therapy, Primary Vision Care, and Advanced Ocular Care clinics, and taught optometry students as a laboratory teaching assistant. He was also involved as an associate investigator for the Pediatric Eye Disease Investigator Group.

Dr. Manning is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Ohio Optometric Association and serves on the Young OD Committee and the Central Ohio Optometric Association board.
